The Villa
Villa Oasis is a charming villa in typical Provencal style, quietly nestled in the hills above Vence, with breathtaking panoramic views of Cap d’Antibes and the Mediterranean Sea, the mountains and the picturesque medieval town. The villa is set in the centre of a beautiful garden planted with flowers, fruit trees and Mediterranean plants.
The two-storey, 300 m² house has a large covered terrace overlooking the 5×11 metre pool and the Mediterranean Sea. On the other side is the Baou des Blancs, the local mountain and a favourite destination for magnificent hikes.
The house contains a magnificent cathedral-like living room with high ceilings and large sliding doors opening onto a terrace with sea views, a cosy fireplace lounge, a dining room with a large panoramic window and access to the terrace, and a completely refurbished kitchen also with access to the terrace.
There are 4 newly renovated bedrooms with air conditioning, 4 bathrooms and 4 toilets. On the first floor, in addition to two of the bedrooms, there is a large landing with carom billiards and a small office – also with views of the Mediterranean.
The house has its own driveway with electric gate and gate alarm, and there is space for parking at least 3-4 cars.
The area
With a 1.5 kilometre walk to Vence’s historic centre, it’s easy to enjoy the city. This beautiful little medieval town has a lot to offer in the form of an old town with a wealth of local restaurants and bistros in all the town squares, as well as good supermarkets and many speciality shops.
In addition, Vence is a bustling centre of local life, with frequent markets and other exciting activities.
As the view promises, the villa is close to many of the gems of the Côte d’ Azur. With 35 minutes to Nice and 40 minutes to Cannes, it’s not far to enjoy a glass of rosé at delicious beach restaurants, shopping in the iconic streets or the classic charm of the southern French coastal towns.
For more adventurous small towns, it’s 40 minutes to the elevated Éze, 35 minutes to the perfume capital of France, Grasse, and 50 minutes to the colourful town of Menton. The older European charm is combined with beach life in the charming town of Antibes, where you can drive 35 minutes to enjoy a French lunch – or take a pretty hike around Cap d’Antibes.
In addition, Italy is just an hour’s drive away, where you can easily cross the border to enjoy an authentic pizza for lunch. Other ‘international’ trips include a beautiful 60-minute drive along the coast to the legendary Monaco and enjoy a visit to the small country.
Practical info
When you arrive at the villa, freshly laundered bed linen, towels, tea towels, etc. are waiting for you – and you don’t have to wash them when you leave, you can just relax as we provide professional cleaning.
There are also a few cold beers and rosé in the fridge, and the pantry has the usual dry food – flour, sugar, pasta etc. Oil and spices are by the stove. Please stock up before departure, but all the practicalities are also in the welcome letter down in the villa.
A gardener and pool man will come every week, usually Thursday afternoon and Friday morning (exact times for your stay can be provided the week before).

- Kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, 2 fridges, one ‘American’ with ice water + ice functions, toaster, blender, stick blender kitchen machine, Nespresso machine, juicer and fruit juicer
- Washing machine + tumble dryer
- Internet (fiber)
- Sun loungers, parasols and pool towels
Calender & prices
- Rental period: From Saturday at 16:00 to Saturday at 10:00, when it must be returned in a cleaned state.
- Within 8 days of booking, 50% of the rent must be paid.
- 6 weeks before arrival date, the balance must be paid.
- If cancelled up to 6 weeks before arrival date, half of the amount paid will be refunded. If cancelled later, the rental amount will not be refunded.
- Pets and smoking indoors are not allowed.
- Rental contract will be sent.
